LIFETIME WARRANTY & RETURN POLICY
The Desolation Outdoors Warranty-For all Desolation products
All Desolation Outdoors products have a LIFETIME WARRANTY against all manufacturer’s defects from the date of purchase from Desolation Outdoors. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, excessive abuse or misuse, impacts of any kind, loss, or damage related to, or resulting from, modifications made after purchase.
You must keep your sales receipt when you purchase a Desolation Outdoors product. This is your proof of purchase and you will need to show valid proof of purchase from Desolation Outdoors in order to pursue your warranty claim. This warranty is only applicable to the original purchaser and is void if your product was purchased from another person.
Making A Warranty Claim
For Purchases Made At Dealers: Please return the damaged items to the dealer you purchased them from. Once you have arrived, your dealer will assess the damaged item and will submit a description and pictures of the damaged area to Desolation Outdoors. Desolation Outdoors will respond quickly and any damaged products covered under warranty will be replaced by Desolation Outdoors.
For Website Sales Only: If you think you have a warranted issue, please contact us immediately. Provide us with pictures of the problem area along with a description as to how it happened and a copy of your original sales receipt. We will either repair or replace your warranted item. In the event the item is no longer stocked, we will replace it with a similar-updated model.
Overall, we are fully committed to customer satisfaction and are going to make warranty issues quick, painless and easy to get you back out on the water quickly.

Making A Return
For Website Sales Only: Make sure the item you are returning is in its original packaging, (e.g., paddle box). Once you have prepared your return for pick up, please reach out to our warranty & returns department at (800) 383-1430 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Once we have been notified of your return, we will contact you to coordinate a pickup time that works with your schedule.
It may take 4-5 business days for your return to reach the Desolation Outdoors Fulfillment Center. Once it is received and inspected (usually within 24 hours of receipt), your refund will be processed and automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days.
Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit card is applied for it to post to your account.
